A newly crowned champion was shockingly betrayed on WWE.
Tatum Paxley won the NXT Women’s Championship at Halloween Havoc just a few weeks ago by defeating the dominant champion Jacy Jayne. This marked a special moment for the wrestler, winning the most significant championship of the brand. However, since Paxley’s win, there has been some minor tension between the Culling faction, especially with Izzi Dame, which turned out to be harmful for the champion.

During the November 18 episode of NXT, Paxley was set to defend her title against Jayne during the main event of the night. As the Culling made their way to the ring and the championship was posing with her belt, Dame shared a suspicious look with Shawn Spears before heading towards the ring.
During the match, both wrestlers landed heavy blows on each other, with several close calls and pin-falls. Fatal Influence kept interfering during the match, with Paxley kicking Laney Reid on the ringside. Near the decisive moments of the match, she took the title and was heading towards the ring, but Dame took her out.

She then passed the title to Paxley, but Jayne grabbed it and was about to hit the champion, but the ref turned around and caught Jayne in the act. Jayne threw Paxley out of the ring, and Spears and Niko Vance blocked her way back to the ring. That’s when Dame landed a kick on Paxley’s face, knocking her down. She threw her in, and Jayne secured the three-count after a heavy punch to win the title back.

Paxley only had the title for about 24 days, from October 25 to November 18, marking the end of what was expected to be a great title reign.
