Scarlett Bordeaux is officially stepping back into the ring after her WWE departure.

Scarlett and her husband, Killer Kross (aka Karrion Kross), became free agents on August 11 following their WWE exits. Since then, they’ve started taking indie dates and even made a surprise appearance at GCW Homecoming. Now, Scarlett has confirmed she’ll be wrestling again.

In an interview with Denise Salcedo of Instinct Culture, Scarlett shared her excitement: “We’re going to work and put on killer matches. We’re actually going to be tagging with someone who helped train me very soon. I don’t know if I’ll drop that yet. My first match back, I’m really excited about it. I will be wrestling again, which I’ve been wanting to do.”

She added that this phase of their careers is all about freedom and fun: “We have a lot of cool stuff coming up, and we have ultimate creative freedom. We can do whatever we want. We’re going to take advantage of this time because who knows how long it’s going to be.”

When asked how she feels about her return, Scarlett admitted she’s nervous—but confident: “Even when I get nervous, ‘Oh, I haven’t wrestled in a while,’ it turns out good. I think I still have that in me. I just try to remember who the fuck I am. I’m fucking ready.”

Scarlett’s last televised match was on WWE SmackDown in June 2023. Her most recent match overall was in December 2024, during mixed tag action as part of The Final Testament in WWE.

Do you think Scarlett will thrive on the indies, or is this just a warm-up for something bigger? Drop your thoughts and predictions in the comments!
