The lower levels wrapped up their regular seasons last Sunday, with Double-A concluding today (though the final game isn’t captured in this update). With only two FAAB periods left, now is the time to start positioning your dynasty rosters for 2026.
As we discussed on the most recent fantasy podcast, major league organizations are moving their upper-level pitchers aggressively. Jonah Tong, Connelly Early, Payton Tolle and Nolan McLean have all debuted, with Blue Jays righthander Trey Yesavage set to make his first start for Toronto on Monday. Back in the spring, it would’ve been tough to project that kind of timeline for any of them. That recent trend makes targeting high-performing—though perhaps less heralded—upper-level arms a viable strategy heading into 2026. It’s relevant even for redraft formats, given how quickly they’re breaking in.
For dynasty players, following RoboScout throughout the season helps you spot these names before your league mates do. But even now, it’s important to note that as high-stakes redraft players start drafting them in the preseason, industry buzz will spill over into dynasty leagues.
With only one additional game in Low-A and High-A after last week’s update—and a new Statcast data dump—we’ll begin this week with the “final” Low-A and High-A rankings.

With the latest Statcast data influx, Reds catcher Alfredo Duno surpasses Dodger outfielder Eduardo Quintero for the third spot on the Low-A podium. Duno had a huge season. RoboScout projects the 19-year-old slugger as a potential .280/.365 hitter with 25-30 home run potential at peak.
Nationals first overall pick finished his debut with a 128 wRC+ across 58 plate appearances, but without a home run. Under the hood, the 17-year-old has shown strong contact rates above 80%, but below-average exit velocities and barrel rates. It’s a very small sample size, but it’s worth nothing that he didn’t rake this year.
RoboScout also noticed that Astros third-round pick Ethan Frey has very compelling Statcast data. The 21-year-old is essentially the same age as Red Sox outfielder Roman Anthony with similar data, though there’s a massive caveat: Frey is in Low-A while Anthony was at Triple-A. Still, it’s a fascinating side-by-side comparison:

Considering he’s likely not ranked in anyone’s top 50, Frey is an intriguing 2026 FYPD sleeper.

Tigers righthander Kelvis Salcedo neaks onto the back of the list with a dominant showing for Low-A Lakeland: a 39% strikeout rate, sub-1.00 WHIP and sub-2.00 ERA across 23.1 innings. His raw stuff isn’t as loud as some peers, but for a 19-year-old he’s flashing a legitimate starter’s mix. Salcedo works with two 94 mph fastballs, an 87 mph slider that generates nearly 50% whiffs and a changeup that produces 50%+ whiffs as well. RoboScout currently projects him as a back-end starter at peak, but with room for midrotation upside as the arsenal matures.
Dodgers righthander Christian Zazueta is an intriguing name to track for 2026 after he took big strides this year. His fastball now sits 93 mph and touches 97 after adding over 1 mph from last year in addition to more extension. His ultra-flat fastball shape is similar to Phillies righty Moises Chace. Last year, Zazueta threw an 81 mph slider with eight inches of sweep, but he’s refashioned it into an 86 mph cutterish breaker. He’s also throwing his 82 mph curveball with more velocity and slurve-like shape. His changeup is the true weapon, with 40%+ whiffs and heavy chase rates thanks to 18 inches of armside fade. A compelling arm with an arsenal that is coalescing into a dominant package, Zazueta is one of my favorite underrated arms for next year.

Let’s appreciate White Sox shortstop Caleb Bonemer, who finishes ninth in the High-A rankings. After posting a 146 wRC+ in Low-A, the 19-year-old carried his momentum to High-A Winston-Salem, where he produced a 192 wRC+ in just 44 plate appearances. RoboScout projects him for a peak .265/.345 slash line with 20–25 homers and 10–15 steals, a profile that mirrors 2025 dynasty breakout Luis Peña. From a Statcast standpoint, Bonemer stacks up impressively against Peña, Jesus Made, Eduardo Quintero and Mariners shortstop Colt Emerson, and he even boasts a higher 90th percentile exit velocity than both Peña and Quintero. It’s been a fantastic season for Bonemer, who now looks like an easy top-50 fantasy prospect.

RoboScout has been getting some inquiries about Twins righthander Adrian Bohorquez, who made five appearances for High-A Cedar Rapids after an early August promotion. Across those outings, the 20-year-old logged a 29% strikeout rate, 6% walk rate, 1.09 WHIP and 3.52 ERA, averaging just under five innings per start. That recent stretch suggests a potential back-of-the-rotation profile, though factoring in his full-season line with Low-A Fort Myers pushes the projection down a notch. The stuff, however, is compelling: a 95 mph four-seam fastball that’s flatter and a tick harder than in 2024, an 88 mph slider with cutter-like shape and a curveball that has firmed to 80 mph from 78 last year. He also mixes in a show-me changeup about 10% of the time. If he can sustain his High-A progress, Bohoroquez has the arsenal to climb prospect lists as a 2026 sleeper.
Rangers righthander Caden Scarborough finishes the season as RoboScout’s fifth-ranked pitcher at High-A, thanks to a dominant 13-inning stint at the level paired with 75 innings at Low-A Down East. The 20-year-old works with a 94 mph four-seam fastball delivered from a very low slot with long extension, producing a super-flat shape with late tail. His sweeper is nasty, sitting 81 mph with 16 inches of break, and has been his main secondary. So far, Scarborough hasn’t needed a changeup—he’s thrown it only about 5% of the time—but he’ll need to develop one to handle lefthanded hitters. Adding a bridge pitch to better balance his 30 inches of east-west movement could also help him maximize his arsenal. As it stands, he’s already flashing midrotation potential.

Athletics shortstop Leo De Vries capped another huge week with four home runs, boosting his Double-A wRC+ from 106 to 151. The 18-year-old cooled off a bit midseason after a blazing start but is closing the year on fire. RoboScout projects him as a .285/.360 hitter at peak with 25 homers and 6–10 steals. It’s been a monster year for a monster prospect.
Brewers shortstop Jesus Made, freshly promoted to Double-A Biloxi, has opened with a 125 wRC+ and two stolen bases in 20 plate appearances. Given his age and level, he’s likely to return to Double-A in 2026, setting up a realistic major league ETA in the second half of that season. RoboScout projects him at peak for a .275/.355 line with 17–20 homers and 20 steals—a strong outlook considering this year was seen as a bit of a “down” season relative to preseason expectations.

Rangers righthander David Davalillo climbed to 16th on the Double-A list after adding 5.1 innings and seven more strikeouts to his line. Rather than relying on one overpowering pitch, the 22-year-old leans on depth and variety, offering a true kitchen-sink mix. He features two fastballs in the 93–94 mph range, an 81 mph sweeper with 17 inches of break, a splitter that generates over 55% whiffs and a curveball with more than a foot of two-plane movement. He’s also dabbled with a cutter, a more traditional changeup and a slider with a different shape than his sweeper and cutter. All in, RoboScout projects him for a 1.23 WHIP and 3.81 ERA at peak, with a higher floor than many peers thanks to the sheer number of usable pitches. Davalillo could log meaningful innings for Texas as soon as 2026.
Speaking of vast arsenals, Yankees righthander Elmer Rodriguez-Cruz sits just outside the Top 20 but has put together an impressive six-week run, striking out 35% of hitters with a walk rate under 10% and a 58% groundball rate across his last 42.1 innings. The 21-year-old’s above-average extension helps his 95 mph fastball play up with heavy tail, and he backs it with an 82 mph sweeper that breaks a foot to the glove side, a cutterish 87 mph slider and a 79 mph curveball—giving him three distinct breaking looks. He also mixes in a changeup that generates over 40% whiffs. For a pitcher this young at the upper levels, it’s a deep and impressive arsenal that could support a midrotation outcome if he continues to keep the walks in single digits.
Marlins righthander Karson Milbrandt has made two starts for Double-A Pensacola, logging 10.2 innings with a 1.69 ERA and a 60% groundball rate. On the latest fantasy podcast, we highlighted the arsenal gains made by fellow Marlins arms Robby Snelling and Thomas White, and Milbrandt has followed a similar path of reinvention. He’s added a tick of velocity to his four-seam fastball, now sitting 95 mph, and has reshaped his breaking mix: instead of the 82 mph slider with modest six-inch break he showed in 2024, he now features two distinct offerings—an 88 mph cutterish slider and an 84 mph sweeper with eight inches of horizontal movement. It’s another success story for Miami’s development group and one that could push Milbrandt up prospect lists if he sustains these gains.
If any pitcher in the Double-A rankings is still available in your dynasty league, it’s a solid investment right now. Over the offseason, many will get drafted in high-stakes redraft leagues which will build buzz. They’re all quite likely to make their big league debuts in 2026 barring setbacks. Now’s the time to get them for cheap if available.

Twins outfielder Walker Jenkins hit his first Triple-A home run this week and has raised his wRC+ to 94 after 73 plate appearances. Quietly, it seems, Jenkins has raised his peak projection to .270/.350 with 20-25 home runs and 12-15 stolen bases. As a 20-year-old in Triple-A, Jenkins is on the precipice of the major leagues. It will be fascinating to see where he is being drafted in 2026 redraft leagues.
After getting the call to Triple-A Lehigh Valley, Phillies shortstop Aidan Miller has a 153 wRC+ with four stolen bases, continuing his scorching final months of the season. Over his last 163 plate appearances across Double-A and Triple-A, the 21-year-old has five home runs and 19 stolen bases, projecting as a .270/.350 bat with 20 home runs and 20 stolen bases at peak. On the season, Miller has a 106 mph 90th percentile exit velocity with above-average contact and in-zone contact rates while chasing less than 18% of the time.

Congratulations to Trey Yesavage, who will start for the Toronto Blue Jays tomorrow, marking his fifth level he will pitch for in 2025. RoboScout projects a 1.21 WHIP, 4.07 ERA and a 27% strikeout rate for 2025 at the major league level for the 21-year-old.
Happy bidding!
