Ridge Holland has provided an unfortunate injury update.
Former NXT Tag Team Champion Ridge Holland underwent surgery for a Lisfranc injury on October 3. Holland sustained the injury while competing against Moose at a TNA iMPACT taping on September 27.
Holland took to X/Twitter to provide a new update on his recovery. He stated that heâ€s traveling to Birmingham to have his cast removed and take more X-rays to ensure he can start partial weight bearing.
However, he also provided a concerning update about a neck injury heâ€s dealing with, which might require surgery.
“So, just a bit of an update. Next Tuesday, Iâ€ve got to go to Birmingham, Alabama, to have the cast off, some more X-rays to make sure that the foot is all good, and we can go to partial weight bearing. The kicker is that prior to the foot, I had a neck injury that was going to get imaging for. I got imaging for that post-foot surgery, and Iâ€m going to Birmingham to see the neck specialist.
“Worst case scenario, Iâ€ll need neck surgery, and Iâ€m hoping for the best case scenario, which is injections, but Iâ€m having some nerve impingement, which is sending pain down my arm, so Iâ€m a little bit apprehensive about whatâ€s going to happen because itâ€s another kick in the balls, really. Iâ€ll keep you posted.†[H/T: Fightful]
