AAAâ€s Heroes Inmortales XVII hits Mexico City tonight, bringing a loaded card and a powerful tribute to the man who started it all—Antonio Peña.
Rey Mysterio opened the eventâ€s broadcast with an emotional message, honoring the legacy of the legendary lucha libre pioneer, while his son Dominik Mysterio prepares to defend the AAA Mega Championship in the main event.
Reyâ€s pre-show video message put Peñaâ€s influence front and center, recognizing him as more than just a promoter or executive—he was the architect of modern lucha libre.

Tonightâ€s event takes place at the Gimnasio OlÃmpico Juan de la Barrera in Mexico City and features major title bouts across multiple divisions. Dominik Mysterio—who stunned the lucha world by becoming AAA Mega Champion—will defend his title against former WWE and NXT star Dragon Lee in a marquee showdown. Also on the card:
- Laredo Kid defends the AAA World Cruiserweight Championship in a four-way against Lince Dorado, Aerostar, and Jack Cartwheel.
- Reina de Reinas Champion Flammer puts her title on the line in a triple threat match with Natalya and Faby Apache.
