If there’s one thing baseball fans can agree on, it’s that everyone has a uniform take—and no two lists will ever look the same. Preferences vary wildly, which makes pinning down a perfect order nearly impossible.
But we gave it a shot with input from a few Baseball America colleagues and landed on 25 looks that stand out above the rest.
For this exercise, we valued pure aesthetic over everything else. Tradition and history are nice, but color schemes, logo placement and lettering carried the most weight. Pinstripes and powder tones are heavily represented because, frankly, they’re the easiest to pull off and are a timeless baseball look. But creativity earned points, too. That’s why a bold option like Navy’s Jolly Roger set or FIU’s eye-popping vice jerseys made the cut right alongside long-standing classics that have been staples of the sport for decades.
Of course, we know not everyone will see it the same way—and that’s half the fun. Uniform debates are made for disagreement, and if this list sparks a little friendly back-and-forth, then it’s already done its job.
Below, you’ll find the Baseball America Top 25 College Baseball Uniforms. Be sure to let us know what you think we got right—and wrong.
1. North Carolina’s White Pinstripes
North Carolina’s white pinstripes set the standard, pairing a classic baseball look with the school’s signature shade of blue. Crisp, clean and instantly recognizable, it’s a jersey that perfectly blends tradition with Tar Heel flair.
2. Texas’ Home Whites
Texas’ home whites are simple, but there’s something that’s so aesthetically pleasing and clean about seeing “Texas” in big, burnt orange letters across a crisp, white jersey. The burnt orange Nike swoosh is a nice cherry on top, too. Texas is one of only a handful of programs in the sport that, when you look at their jerseys, you’re immediately reminded of all the great players and teams of years past. They have—and will continue to—withstand the test of time.
3. Oregon’s Pinstripes With Duck Patch
Oregon has Nike behind it and rarely misses when it comes to uniforms, with baseball right in step. The white pinstripes with the duck patch on the chest are among the cleanest looks in the sport, blending a classic design with a bold, instantly recognizable logo that gives the jersey personality without overdoing it.
4. Ole Miss’ Powder Blues
The Ole Miss powder blues turn 10 years old in 2026, and they’ve already earned a place among the sport’s most iconic looks. The bold “Ole Miss” script across the chest pairs with matching powder blue pants trimmed in red, white and blue, while red hats with a “UM” logo complete a set that became an instant classic and could easily have ranked No. 1.
5. Arizona State’s Tequila Sunrise Throwbacks
Arizona State brought back a piece of its history in 2022 with the debut of throwbacks honoring the 1981 College World Series championship team. The tequila sunrise gradient blends the Sun Devils’ classic colors in a way that feels both bold and timeless. And while ASU has several worthy uniform options, this retro look strikes the perfect balance of unique and classy.
6. Kansas’ Powder Blues

Kansas’ powder blues are in a prominent spot at No. 6, but there’s a chance they’re still being underrated. From the script “Jayhawks” across the chest to the subtle red, white and blue piping on the sleeves, almost everything is perfect about these jerseys. Not to mention, the red and blue lining around “Jayhawks” helps it pop. Perhaps our favorite part of these uniforms, however, is the incorporation of the American flag inside an outline of the state of Kansas on the back of the jersey. These are an outstanding addition to a program that is on the rise.
7. Clemson’s Home Whites
Whether it’s on the football field or baseball diamond, it’s hard to beat Clemson’s purple and orange colorway. With the latter, the combination really pops on the Tigers’ white jerseys. The script “Tigers” is very sleek, and it being outlined in purple helps it pop that much more. The iconic Tiger paw on the left sleeve helps to tie the entire look together.
8. Tulane’s White Jersey With Slugger Birds
Tulane’s uniform lineup is among the best in college baseball, with powder blues, crisp whites and sharp dark green options all in the mix. The standout is the look featuring the slugger bird perched on a bat across the chest and on the caps—a playful but iconic mark that pops best on a clean white backdrop. The Green Wave are consistently well dressed, and this combination pushed them comfortably into the top half of this list.
9. LSU’s Championship Gold
The initial placement of LSU’s Championship Golds (hint: it was much higher than No. 9) sparked a healthy debate between a number of BA’s finest, so we compromised and put them in the nine-hole. On looks alone, we’re not sure if it’s even LSU’s best jersey—that might be their white pinstripes with “Tigers” across the chest—but the significance of when they wear them is nothing short of special. Similar to Clemson football’s orange britches, LSU only dons its iconic Championship Gold jerseys in series-clinching or championship games. With that in mind, these jerseys are accompanied by a unique swagger and intimidation factor that nobody else in the sport can replicate.
10. Arkansas’ Cream
Arkansas proves that sometimes simplicity makes the strongest statement. These cream uniforms pair throwback lettering with a clean color scheme, letting the Razorbacks’ red logo stand out front and center. It’s a timeless look where less is more, and it’s an easy winner.
11. Navy’s Jolly Roger

Navy debuted its Jolly Roger uniforms in 2025, and they immediately stood out as one of the most distinctive looks in the game. The white body framed by black shoulders and sleeves makes the gold accents shine, while the skull-and-crossbones patch on the sleeve and cap ties the theme together. The helmet, stamped with a bold Jolly Roger logo, takes the look over the top. This design might not be for everyone, especially college baseball purists, but from a uniqueness standpoint it stands alone, looks outstanding and earned its spot on this list.
12. FIU’s Vice
FIU unveiled its Vice uniforms in 2025, and they’re as bold as anything in college baseball. The design leans into bright pastels and sharp contrasts—a look that some might find too busy but one that undeniably makes the Panthers stand out. Creativity carried the day here, and for us, these jerseys landed high on the list because they pull off a colorful scheme in a way that works.
13. Coastal Carolina’s Teal
Carolina blue, Texas’ burnt orange and a few others boast some of the most iconic colorways in college sports. While Coastal Carolina might not have the history of the aforementioned programs, its shade of teal has quickly become one of the most recognizable colors in college baseball. Fresh off a College World Series final appearance and their second-best season in program history, 2025 won’t be the last time a sea of teal makes its way to Omaha.
14. Kentucky’s Cream
We are, like many others, suckers for a cream jersey. Kentucky executes the concept perfectly, and the script lettering across the chest gives these uniforms a modern throwback feel. It’s subtle, but the “CATS” on the left sleeve is a nice touch.
15. Houston’s Electric Blue

On the loudness scale, it will be tough to beat Houston’s electric blue jerseys. However, this type of loud works. It’s a modern throwback that’s reminiscent of the old Houston Oilers’ jerseys, and this shade of blue pairs nicely with the white “Houston” outlined in red across the chest. Throw in the Texas state flag on the right sleeve, and you’ve got one of the cleanest new alternates in college baseball.
16. Vanderbilt’s Black Pinstripes
The Commodores’ black pinstripe uniforms have quickly become one of the more recognizable looks in college baseball. We’re not normally a huge fan of black-on-black, but Vanderbilt makes it work. The white pinstripes on both the jersey and pants help the entire uniform pop, and there are also a handful of small details that help tie the look together. “Vanderbilt” being outlined in gold and the gold numbers on the back are both nice touches, as is the “NASH” patch on the right chest.
17. East Carolina’s Powder Lavender
East Carolina’s all-purple uniforms are impossible to miss, and that’s exactly the point. The set leans fully into the Pirates’ identity with bold scripting across the chest and a head-to-toe lavender tone that separates them from anyone else in the sport. Combined with caps that feature the program’s classic pirate logo, it’s a look that’s unapologetically loud yet still sharp enough to feel like a modern classic.
18. Dallas Baptist’s Navy
Dallas Baptist’s navy tops with “Dallas” in flowing script across the chest strike the perfect balance of simple and stylish. Paired with pinstriped pants, subtle piping and the “DB” cap logo, the set leans on tradition and gives the Patriots a timeless look that holds up against the sport’s heavyweights. Headed to the Pac-12 in 2027, DBU will bring one of the nation’s sharpest mid-major uniforms onto a bigger stage.
19. Virginia’s Orange Evoshield
Unveiled ahead of the 2025 season, Virginia’s Evoshield jerseys quickly became some of the best in the sport. Orange-on-orange is a bold move, but it works here. The script “Virginia” in navy across the chest pops against the orange backdrop, and the white piping on the sleeves is crisp. Perhaps the best part of these uniforms are the navy pinstripes. When Virginia won the College World Series in 2015, it dogpiled in its orange jerseys. While these are a more modern look, a future dogpile with this look in Omaha would bring back memories of their first-ever national title.
20. UCLA’s Blue
UCLA’s blue jerseys with gold script lettering are a timeless classic. Simple, traditional and instantly associated with one of college baseball’s staple programs, it’s a look that never goes out of style.
21. Notre Dame’s Green On Green
This one might stir up some controversy, but the Fighting Irish’s all-green jerseys are one of our favorites. It helps that the look is uniquely theirs, but the navy and gold “Irish” across the chest—with a small, yet noticeable shamrock as the dot above the “I”—goes well with the green, as do the navy and gold stripes on the sleeve. The uniform is at its peak when Notre Dame is hitting, as their trademark gold chrome helmets are also on full display.
22. Oregon State’s Cream
We mentioned it earlier in the piece, but it’s hard to go wrong with a cream jersey. That’s even more so when you incorporate Oregon State’s orange and black colorway into the concept. The black “Beavers” outlined in orange looks fantastic on a cream jersey, making this another program that nailed the modern throwback look.
23. Florida State’s Garnet
Florida State’s garnet and gold has been tied to decades of baseball tradition, and these uniforms reflect that history. The design is simple and steady, with “Seminoles” lettering and the classic logo carried over to the helmets. There’s nothing flashy here, but the timelessness and connection to one of college baseball’s cornerstone programs make it a clear top 25 choice.
24. Campbell’s “Nobodies From Nowhere”
The phrase “nobodies from nowhere” has become a rallying cry for Campbell over the last handful of years. It embodies the underdog, chip-on-the-shoulder mentality that all of the players within the program have, and the fact that they were able to incorporate it into one of their jerseys is outstanding. The “nobodies” across the chest is unbelievably cool, but in a strange way it’s also somewhat intimidating. Our only gripe with the jersey is that we wish it was a white base with “nobodies” in black so it would pop a bit more.
25. Oklahoma State’s Orange
Oklahoma State’s orange jerseys have long been a college baseball staple. The font and bat logo are synonymous with the program, and it’s another jersey that immediately sends a number of fans on a trip down memory lane. From 1988 first-rounder Robin Ventura or 2024 first-rounder Carson Benge, so many Cowboys greats have donned these iconic jerseys.
