    Another night, another game-winning goal for Louis-François Bélanger.

    Bélanger scored at 1:49 in overtime to help the Newfoundland Regiment beat the Moncton Wildcats on consecutive nights with a 5-4 win on Friday in the Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League.

    The Regiment won their first game in franchise history 7-5 over Moncton on Thursday, with Bélanger burying the go-ahead goal late in the third period.

    The Acadie-Bathurst Titan moved to St. John’s this season after 27 years in the league.

    Tyson Goguen scored twice while Max Dinneen and Justin Larose also had goals for Newfoundland. Regiment netminder Antoine Proulx stopped 26 of 30 shots.

    Alex Mercier scored twice while Tommy Bleyl and Niko Tournas scored once for Moncton. Wildcats netminder Jacoby Weiner saved 23 of 28 shots.

    VAL-D’OR, Que. — Nicholas Petrut knocked in the game-winning goal at 16:40 in the third period as the Gatineau Olympiques edged the Val d’Or Foreurs.

    Noah Florent scored twice while Louis-Étienne Halley scored once for Gatineau. Olympiques goaltender Danai Shaiikov kicked out 23 of 26 shots.

    Philippe Veilleux scored twice while Samuel Fiala scored once for Val-D’Or. Foreurs netminder Émile Beaunoyer stopped 23 of 27 shots.

    SHAWINIGAN, Que. — The Victoriaville Tigres defeated the Shawinigan Cataractes during the shootout.

    Egor Shilov, Loïk Gariépy, Enzo Lottin and Mathéo Lepage all scored once for Victoriaville. Tigres goaltender Gabriel D’Aigle stopped 28 of 32 shots.

    Vince Elie, Elias Schneider, Jacob Lachance and Mickael Chapdelaine all scored once for Shawinigan. Cataractes netminder Mathys Fernandez stopped 1 of 1 shots and Cataractes netminder Olivier St-Onge stopped 26 of 30 shots.

    DRUMMONDVILLE, Que. — Dylan Dumont scored twice as the Drummondville Voltigeurs downed the Chicoutimi Saguenéens.

    Renaud Poulin, Maxime-Olivier Drolet and David Bosson all scored once for Drummondville. Voltigeurs goaltender Jan Larys kicked out 25 of 28 shots.

    Gryphon Watson-Bucci, Anton Linde and Émile Ricard all scored once for Chicoutimi. Saguenéens goaltender Tomas Gagné stopped 29 of 34 shots.

    RIMOUSKI, Que. — Liam Lefebvre scored twice as Rimouski Océanic topped Baie-Comeau Drakkar.

    Luke Patterson, Dovydas Jukna and Émile Duquet all scored once for Rimouski. Océanic goaltender William Lacelle stopped 28 of 31 shots.

    Alexis Michaud, Declan Wotton and Jacopo De Luca all scored once for Baie-Comeau. Drakkar goaltender Lucas Beckman stopped 31 of 36 shots.

    SAINT JOHN, N.B. — William Yared knocked in the game-winning goal at 10:53 in the second period as the Sea Dogs edged the Eagles.

    Olivier Duhamel and Zachary Morin all scored once for Saint John. Sea Dogs netminder Justin Robinson kicked out 29 of 31 shots.

    Hugo Charron and Jacob Hartlin all scored once for Cape Breton. Eagles netminder Félix Hamel stopped 31 of 34 shots.

    CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — William Shields scored twice as the Charlottetown Islanders defeated the Halifax Mooseheads.

    Nathan Leek and Matthew Butler all scored once for Charlottetown. Islanders netminder Donald Hickey saved 23 of 24 shots.

    Jasu Mensonen scored once for Halifax. Mooseheads goaltender Owen Bresson kicked out 20 of 24 shots.

    ROUYN-NORANDA, Que. — Olivier Lemieux knocked in the game-winning goal at 3:47 in overtime as the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada edged the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies.

    Rafaël Cloutier scored twice while Olivier Metcalfe, Vincent Desjardins and Ludovik Grenier scored once for Blainville-Boisbriand. Armada goaltender Olivier Bacon kicked out 30 of 35 shots.

    Lars Steiner scored twice while Eliot Ogonowski, Samuel Beauchemin and Benjamin Brunelle scored once for Rouyn-Noranda. Huskies netminder Samuel Meloche kicked out 29 of 35 shots.
