Seth Rollins may be sidelined, but his latest appearance is sparking serious talk about a possible faster recovery than originally expected.
Just weeks after confirming a torn rotator cuff and a six-month absence, Rollins was seen without his sling at Stone Cold Steve Austinâ€s Broken Skull Beer anniversary celebration.
The event took place at El Segundo Brewing Co. in California on November 15. Rollins showed up with Becky Lynch and appeared in a group photo—noticeably not wearing the shoulder sling heâ€d been using during his last media appearance.
On Halloween, Rollins surprised the Good Morning Football crew by unmasking himself from a Stanley the Bear costume and revealing his arm in a sling. During the live broadcast, he broke the news about how long he expected to be out.
“Wish I could rip this thing off, man, but Iâ€m out, guys. Iâ€m out. Six months,†Rollins said, acknowledging the injuryâ€s seriousness.
He also took a moment to joke about how the situation came to be.
“You put this juju into the universe. Itâ€s on you. Itâ€s all on you,†he told co-host Kyle Brandt before throwing out a jab. “That titleâ€s going to be worn by some schmuck—either Jey Uso or CM Punk.â€
Although the beer bash photo showed him sling-free, a new video clip from the same event revealed that Rollins was wearing the sling again later on. That means he likely removed it briefly for the photo—but even that temporary removal could point to promising progress post-surgery.
In the meantime, Rollins has kept himself busy, taking on a new role as a guest analyst for NFL Network. No official return date has been announced, but the visual evidence is now suggesting that things may be moving in the right direction.
Do you think Seth Rollins is on track for an early comeback, or is the sling-free photo just a one-off moment? Leave a comment and share your thoughts.
