Northern Superchargers Win The Hundred 2025 Women’s Title: Northern Superchargers claimed their first Women’s Hundred title at Lord’s, beating Southern Brave by seven wickets with 12 balls to spare.

Northern Superchargers Win The Hundred 2025 Title: What Happened in the Match?

Brave, unbeaten through the season, mustered only 115 for 6 after being sent in. Kate Cross, still bristling from her exclusion from England’s World Cup squad, removed Maia Bouchier and Laura Wolvaardt with successive balls, finishing with 2 for 23. Annabel Sutherland matched those figures, dismissing Freya Kemp for 26 and Danni Wyatt-Hodge for 25.

Brave’s innings rarely lifted beyond pedestrian: their first 19 balls brought just 15 runs, Sophie Devine laboured for 23 off 28, and captain Georgia Adams was run out attempting a desperate single. Only Kemp injected urgency, her 16-ball cameo preserving some respectability.

Superchargers’ reply was brisker. Phoebe Litchfield lit the chase with 26 from 13 deliveries before falling to Chloe Tryon. Davina Perrin, a century-maker in the eliminator, went cheaply for 17. But Sutherland (28*) and Nicola Carey (35*) closed the contest with an unbroken 60-run stand.

Carey finished it in style, striking a six off Adams to underline a comfortable pursuit. For Brave, finalists now in four of five editions with only one trophy, it was another missed opportunity. For Superchargers, after years of near-misses, a long-awaited first silverware.
