Woodbridge Ping Hub in Suffolk will open it’s doors for the first time to local residents, initially enabling interested individuals to play on and book tables for free at the brand new venue based near Woodbridge Rugby Club. In May 2025, Table Tennis England were successful in securing substantial funding from East Suffolk Council in order to develop the Ping Hub in Woodbridge.
From w/b Monday 29th September, local residents will be able to take advantage of the new Free-2-Play sessions based at the venue. The Woodbridge Ping Hub will provide Free-2-Play sessions on four days of the week:
Monday(s) – 10am to 12pm
Tuesday(s) – 5.30pm to 6.30pm
Wednesday(s) – 2pm to 4pm
Saturday(s) – 10am to 12pm
There will be 12 spaces avalaible across each session time and interested individuals are encouraged to visit the newly formed Woodbridge Ping Hubsection on the Woodbridge Table Tennis Club website. For more information on how to get involved, please see the following links below:

Christopher Bryden, Area Manager for the East for Table Tennis England, who has led on the programme commented.
“The launch of our Free-2-Play initiative today is a culmination of many months of hard work by a huge range of people and organisations in order to bring this opportunity to fruition. As such, I would like to thank everyone who has contributed thus far and I look forward to working in partnership with everyone to develop the opportunity over the coming months”.
To develop the Ping Hub further, Table Tennis England are looking forward to working alongside Woodbridge Table Tennis Club to introduce more targeted projects over the next couple of months including Bat N Chat, Ping In The Community and TT Kidz sessions.
