Tatum Paxley & Blake Monroe Capture NXT Gold
As the spookiest day of the year approaches, WWE NXTâ€s spookiest star is now the NXT Womenâ€s Champion.
At Halloween Havoc, Tatum Paxley challenged Jacy Jayne for the NXT Womenâ€s Championship, with Niko Vance, Shawn Spears, and Izzi Dame in her corner. Meanwhile, Jayne arrived to the title match with Lainey Reid and Fallon Henley. Half-way through the action, Paxley and Jayne were left alone as the referee ejected all of their allies after multiple interferences. Moments later, though, all of them reemerged, with chaos ensuing on the outside of the ring.
Inside the ring, Dame grabbed the NXT Womenâ€s Championship and seemingly lined up to hit Paxley with it. Instead, Paxley ducked, causing Dame to be struck with a rolling forearm from Jayne. Paxley then seized the opening with a Cemetery Drive on Jayne to secure the win and her first taste of NXT gold.
“Oh my gosh. And new [champion], finally,†Paxley said backstage following her victory. “Four years, Tatum Paxley the person you thought would never be able to pull it off has done it. Your new NXT Womenâ€s Champion.â€
Just three days removed from her big win, Paxley prepared to defend her NXT Womenâ€s Championship against Lola Vice on WWE NXT. Shortly after the opening bell, however, Fatal Influence ambushed both of them and Izzi Dame, forcing the referee to call for a no contest.
Elsewhere on NXT, newly-crowned NXT Womenâ€s North American Champion Blake Monroe confirmed that her first title defense would take place during the brandâ€s upcoming trip to New York City. Monroe captured the respective title by defeating Zaria at NXT Halloween Havoc. Former champion Sol Ruca was unable to defend the title at the October 25 premium live event due to injury, so Zaria stepped up in her place.

Kelani Jordan Defends TNA Knockouts Title
While Paxleyâ€s title defense was rendered incomplete on WWE NXT, Kelani Jordan and Kendal Grey completed both of theirs with success.
Firstly, Grey put her WWE Evolve Womenâ€s Championship on the line against that powerhouse that is Lash Legend. In the closing moments, Grey leaped off the top rope, only to be caught by Legend and bounced off the rope. When Legend then lined up for a big boot, Grey evaded it and delivered a jumping flatliner to retain her title.
In the NXT main event, Kelani Jordan defended the TNA Knockouts Championship against Jordynne Grace. In the midst of this title match, however, Trick Williams and NXT Champion Ricky Saints brought their ongoing fight to the stage, then to the ring. With the referee distracted by the chaos, Kelani nailed Grace with the TNA Knockouts Championship belt for the win, while Williams and Saints continued brawling on the outside.
Kelaniâ€s victory over “The Juggernaut†marks her second televised title defense since becoming the champion at TNA Victory Road. Her first saw her defeat Indi Hartwell at TNA Bound For Glory.

AEW Womenâ€s Tag Title Tournament Kicks Off
In a matter of weeks, AEW will crown its first-ever Womenâ€s Tag Team Champions. On Wednesdayâ€s edition of AEW Dynamite, the tournament to do so officially began.
Kicking off the tournament competition, Jamie Hayter and Queen Aminata took on the Sisters of Sin (Julia Hart and Skye Blue). Hayter and Aminata controlled much of the early goings with a series of suplexes to their opponents; their momentum later continued with a pair of lariats that drove Hart and Blue to the mat.
When Hayter then sent Hart to the outside, the tide shifted into Hart and Blueâ€s favor, beginning with an interfering blow from Thekla to Hayter. Inside the ring, Hart and Blue followed with an assisted swinging flatliner to Aminata to seal their victory.
Looking ahead, Hart and Blue will face either Mercedes Mone and Athena or Willow Nightingale and Harley Cameron in the tournament semi-finals. On the other side of the brackets, Penelope Ford revealed that she sustained a torn UCL, which will keep her out of action for an unknown period of time. As such, her tag partner, Megan Bayne, has now aligned with Marina Shafir in the AEW Womenâ€s Tag Team Tournament.
Bayne and Shafir will take on Tay Melo and Anna Jay in another opening round match. Elsewhere, Mina Shirakawa and Toni Storm will battle Alex Windsor and Riho.
