“My Time Is Coming” – WWE Star Comforts Young Fan With Determined Message After Upsetting Loss

A video showing a young fan being devastated after the loss of their favorite WWE star led said wrestler to share a heartfelt and determined response to comfort the distraught fan.

During last week’s episode of WWE SmackDown, United States Champion Ilja Dragunov continued his weekly challenge that led to Carmelo Hayes stepping to the plate to get a chance at winning his first singles title on the main roster.

While he put up an impressive performance, and it looked like he had the match won, it was stolen by Tomasso Ciampa, who interfered in the contest when referee Charles Robinson was attending to Dragunov. The Blackheart tripped Hayes, who was on the top turnbuckle, which led to Dragunov inadvertently capitalizing on the distraction and retaining his title.

This loss devastated a lot of fans; however, it seemed to have a great effect on a young fan whose mother took to her social media to share a clip of the child seeming distraught at his favorite wrestler’s loss and could be seen crying.

Carmelo Hayes responded to said clip via his X/Twitter with a determined message to come back stronger, stating that his time to shine was coming soon. He wrote:

“This reminds me never to forget or downplay the impact we have. My time is coming lil man 💪ðŸ¾ðŸ«¡”

Fans praised this move by the former NXT Champion. When he debuted on the main roster last year, as the third overall draft pick, fans were excited to see how he would be treated on the main roster, as Hayes had built considerable hype around him during his time in NXT.

However, they have been disappointed with the way he has been treated, with many claiming that World Wrestling Entertainment is wasting his potential on the main roster. How Hayes bounces back from this massive loss remains to be seen, but if his message to the young fan is any indication, fans can expect him to build up his wins and hopefully win gold soon.
