Mercedes Moné Receives High Praise From Two AEW Stars

Mercedes Moné continues to make history all over the globe with one of the prolific collections of championships any wrestler has ever accumulated at one time.

But how do other women in the AEW locker room perceive the CEO and longest reigning TBS Champion of all time?

All Elite Wrestling‘s Harley Cameron and Willow Nightingale recently sat down with Rick Ucchino of Sports Illustrated. During the interview, Cameron took time to praise Mercedes Monéâ€s work ethic and approach to wrestling.

“Iâ€ve never met anyone this far into their wrestling journey that treats every day like itâ€s the first day,†Harley Cameron said. “I respect her approach… Sheâ€s always growing, learning, evolving. Iâ€ll see her at a random training session that someone of her caliber, probably most people, wouldnâ€t be going to… Sheâ€s always working. And I think thatâ€s what makes her stand apart and why her success has been legendary. Especially this run because sheâ€s someone who has that mindset of always keep working.â€

Nightingale, on the other hand, praised Mercedes†passion for the industry.

“One of the key elements of All Elite Wrestling is passion, and that is something that she just has like pouring out of her,†Willow Nightingale said. “You know, do I want to be TBS Champion, 12 belts person? Yeah. Who doesnâ€t, right? Weâ€re all doing this â€cause we want to be that, but I canâ€t be angry that Iâ€m not, because she is doing all that it takes to be that person. She talks the talk and she walks the walk.â€
