WWE star Maxxine Dupri praised her former Alpha Academy leader Chad Gable for helping her get better in the ring.
During an interview on Insight with Chris Van Vliet, Maxxine Dupri spoke highly of Chad Gableâ€s creativity and wrestling knowledge, calling him a major influence on her career. “Oh my gosh, so much. Heâ€s actually someone kind of what I was saying earlier, heâ€s a man of few words. So when he tells me something, I take it to heart, because heâ€s someone that can look at something creatively, †Dupri said.
“Just the business, the mind he has for this business, heâ€s just able to zoom out and see everything and give me these pointers that Iâ€m like, duh, why didnâ€t I think of that? But I would never, and he sees it so clearly.â€
She shared that she often turns to Gable for feedback because of his deep understanding of wrestling. “So I go to him a lot for things like that, because when it comes to matches and just his ability to understand this business truly is out of this world.â€
Maxxine made her WWE in-ring debut in July 2023 as part of Alpha Academy, led by Gable. Even after Gable left the group to form his own faction, American Made, under his El Grande Americano character, Dupri still credits him for helping her grow as a performer.
Although their paths in WWE have gone in different directions, Maxxine Dupri remains thankful for Chad Gableâ€s support. She is now being mentored by Natalya and has recently entered a rivalry with Becky Lynch. Meanwhile, Gable is currently out of action after suffering a rotator cuff injury.
