    Le nouveau format qui change tout – BLOG

    Gardez un Å“il sur Chengdu à la fin novembre pour la Mixed Team World Cup. Ce nâ€est pas un tournoi comme les autres : câ€est un format pensé pour la télévision qui bouscule toutes les habitudes.

    Le concept est simple : équipes mixtes (hommes/femmes). Mais la vraie révolution, câ€est le système de score.

    Chaque match—simple ou double—se joue en deux manches gagnantes (best-of-three). Mais la rencontre par équipes ne sâ€arrête pas après trois victoires. Elle se termine dès quâ€une équipe atteint 8 manches gagnées au total.

    Quâ€est-ce que ça change ?
    Tout.

    Il nâ€y a plus de “matchs pour rienâ€. Chaque manche compte. Un score de 2–1 ou 2–0 change directement lâ€issue globale. La tension reste maximale du début à la fin.

    Pour nous, les entraîneurs, câ€est un laboratoire.

    Câ€est là quâ€on verra ce qui fonctionne vraiment. Les coachs doivent gérer leurs joueurs autrement. Un spécialiste du “best-of-3â€, capable dâ€entrer fort et vite dans un match, devient essentiel.

    On verra aussi les meilleures stratégies au service/remise et dans le petit jeu (2–3 coups), puisque chaque point est crucial. Câ€est un or pédagogique pour construire nos plans dâ€entraînement.

    À noter également : câ€est le format prévu pour les Jeux Olympiques de Los Angeles 2028. Ce quâ€on observe à Chengdu sera le modèle pour les quatre prochaines années.

    Les poids lourds seront présents. Un rendez-vous à suivre de très près.
