Jey Uso is one of the most popular WWE stars, with his rise to being a former Heavyweight Champion being one of the most fan-favorite moments in the company’s illustrious history. However, he has hit a rough patch as of late.
Ever since losing the title, Uso has been clawing his way to the top. Unfortunately for the former world champion, every attempt has been unsuccessful, and adding to that his recent string of losses, including the one against LA Knight in the semi-finals of The Last Time Is Now tournament, seems to have taken a toll on the former WWE Tag Team Champion, who questioned his confidence and ability to be a champion again.

Jey Uso Still Is A Fan Favorite, As Evident By A Tribute To Him Outside WWE
However, Jey Uso’s recent string of losses hasn’t seemed to have derailed his popularity with the fans. Recently, a video was shared by user @FadeAwayMedia on their X/Twitter account that the Memphis Grizzlies, an NBA team, had implemented a Yeet Cam to honor the World Wrestling Entertainment’s top star.
The video shows fans in the arena encouraged to emulate Uso’s iconic entrance, with fans in attendance doing the Yeet gesture across the arena being featured on the court’s displays as shown in the tweet below:

With his cousin, Roman Reigns, making his intentions of becoming a world champion again clear, fans are intrigued to see what direction Uso’s story takes, and with him being so lost, many are seeing this as a sign of him turning heel.
While it is unclear what lies ahead for Uso, as he has not been seen on television after his backstage segment, he can be happy and assured of the fact that he is still a massive favorite among his legions of fans.
