Jade Cargill just had the biggest moment of her WWE career so far, and she made sure to let her late mother know all about it. At WWE Saturday Nightâ€s Main Event, Cargill defeated Tiffany Stratton to win the WWE Womenâ€s Championship, ending Strattonâ€s 302-day run and securing her first singles title in WWE.
Shortly after the victory, Jade took to Instagram Stories to dedicate the win to her mother, who passed away from cancer just months after Jadeâ€s WWE debut. In a heartfelt message, Jade reflected on the people who shaped her, while also throwing in a cheeky nod to her wrestling gear.
“Mama. I made it â¤ï¸ðŸ¥º I hope I made you, grandma and great gram proud. And I wish you all were here to witness that it was all worth it. And yes, I still wrestle half naked 🤣🥰 itâ€s wrestling gear mom 🤣â€
The title win is Jadeâ€s first singles championship since her AEW TBS Title run, which lasted over 500 days before being surpassed by Mercedes Moné. Since joining WWE in September 2023, Cargill has quickly made her mark—already becoming a two-time Womenâ€s Tag Team Champion and winning the Queen of the Ring tournament earlier this year.
Now firmly at the top of SmackDownâ€s womenâ€s division, Cargillâ€s victory is more than just another title—itâ€s a tribute to the ones who raised her, supported her, and, as she noted, questioned her wardrobe choices.
