Jacy Jayne has commented on the recent change to her faction, Fatal Influence.
Speaking on Busted Open Radio, reigning NXT Womenâ€s Champion Jacy Jayne addressed Jazmyn Nyxâ€s exit from Fatal Influence and WWE, and Lainey Reid taking her place.
While Jacy Jayne didnâ€t want to call Reid an upgrade, she had some high praises for her new partner and claimed she is a great worker.
“I think itâ€s still too soon to really say anything,†Jayne responded when asked if this is an improved version of Fatal Influence. “We had our first match, me and Lainey together, [on Tuesday]. Before that, we had had a singles match and I felt like we had great chemistry right off the bat.â€
“I definitely think Lainey is a huge — I donâ€t want to say upgrade because thatâ€s so mean, but, you know, sheâ€s definitely going to fit the part and sheâ€s going to do a good job. Sheâ€s a great worker. Sheâ€s like a sponge. She listens to everything. She takes everything in really well.†[H/T f4wonline]
Jacy Jayne Said Sheâ€s Used To New Partners, Referring To Toxic Attraction
Before she became the leader of Fatal Influence, Jacy Jayne was part of Toxic Attraction alongside Gigi Dolin and former NXT Womenâ€s Champion Mandy Rose between 2021 and 2023.
However, the faction went through a change following Mandy Roseâ€s release from WWE in December 2022. Jacy Jayne would then go on to turn on Gigi Dolin in February 2023. Speaking on the same interview, Jayne claimed that sheâ€s used to new partners, and one needs to be adaptable to succeed in the wrestling business.
“But, you know, Iâ€m kind of used to new partners all the time,†she told Busted Open Radio. “This isnâ€t anything new to me. Itâ€s all part of adapting. Things change all the time. This is show business — last-minute changes, things you never thought would happen, you just have to go with the flow and figure it out as you go.â€
