AEW star Hologram has undergone knee surgery and will be away from the company as he recovers.
In a post on social media Friday, Hologram shared a brief video of his knee post-surgery. As anticipated, the knee looked bruised and bandaged up. In the post, Hologram checked off that his surgery was done, and then said that rehab and a “rise up†were up next for the star.
Due to the graphic nature of the video, Twitter doesnâ€t allow an embed. If you wish to see it, you can click here.
During an episode of AEW Collision last month, Kyle Fletcher attacked Hologram after an El Clon glitch that appeared in a promo backstage. Fletcher ambushed Hologram and left him down after his attack. Unfortunately for the star, he was said to be “injured†during the attack. The injury actually occurred days earlier on Dynamite.
During Fletcherâ€s match with Komander later in the show, Tony Schiavone revealed Hologram was hurt. Specifically, he said Hologram suffered a “serious injury,†and that he would be out for “quite a while.†As a result of the injury, Orange Cassidy faced off against Fletcher for the TNT Championship on AEW Dynamiteâ€s sixth anniversary show.
Wrestlezone would like to wish Hologram well in his recovery. A timetable for his return is unknown. However, Tony Khan has noted that heâ€ll miss the rest of 2025.
