Unfortunate status of Seth Rollins amidst injury rumors.
At Crown Jewel, Seth Rollins defeated Cody Rhodes to become the Men’s titular champion. The match was action-packed and featured several memorable spots, including a Coast-to-Coast from the World Heavyweight Champion to the Undisputed WWE Champion. However, this may have cost The Visionary.
On the following Monday Night RAW episode, Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed attacked Seth at the end of the show, kicking him out of The Vision. Many were shocked that this happened quite early in their partnership, and reports stated that this was a way to write off Rollins because he injured his shoulder at the PLE from the spot.
Although nothing is official yet, further reports regarding Seth Rollins’ future in WWE continue to be negative. According to Dave Meltzer on the recent Wrestling Observer Radioepisode, Rollins may be out for a long time after RAW and might even miss WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas in April next year.
Earlier reports stated that Seth may have to undergo rotator cuff surgery for his shoulder, which involves repairing a torn tendon in the shoulder by reattaching it to its original site on the upper arm. The timeline of recovery for this type of procedure may take 4 to 6 months, and possibly even 12 months to fully recover in some cases.
Dave Meltzer Predicts Bron Breakker Could Get Involve In The World Heavyweight Title Picture If Seth Rollins Vacates
Other things Dave Meltzer discussed in the episode were that WWE might announce Seth’s future tomorrow on SmackDown or possibly next week on RAW. Regarding the future of the World Heavyweight title, he suggested that a tournament could be held with Bron Breakker winning, and CM Punk could face the winner, as he is now the Number One Contender.
