Tin-Tin Ho picked up a good win against a higher-ranked player at the WTT Feeder Cappadocia in Turkey.

Fresh from winning the European Universities doubles title, plus a singles bronze, in the same country, Ho continued her good form having received a wildcard into the main draw.

Up against Choi Haeeun (WR 154) of South Korea, the match was well poised at 1-1. Choi won the first three points of game three but Ho (WR 271) came back with six in a row and never looked back, going on to win the game and then leading throughout the fourth to complete victory.

In the last 32, Ho faced world No 129 Asuka Sasao of Japan, seeded 12, and again it was poised at 1-1 after Ho won the second game.

However, Sasao blitzed through the third without conceding a point and, although led 3-0 and 5-4 in the fourth, the Japanese went on a run of seven points to seal the match.
