A former WWE talent has voiced his displeasure after being ignored for Wrestlepalooza.
WWE’s foray into the world of ESPN began with Wrestlepalooza, their first PLE. The show started with a video package highlighting the importance of both companies in their respective domains. The package was narrated by Triple H, and with him being the Chief Content Officer, it was probably his idea too.
However, the entire scenario has not sat well with former WWE talent Johnathan Coachman.
Johnathan Coachman was an instrumental part of WWE coverage, especially as a backstage correspondent and interviewer. He later had commentary duties and was an important part of WWE growing up. Coach then moved on to ESPN and brought a lot of attention to the product there as well. However, he was neither featured nor mentioned in the video package, much to his disappointment.
Taking to X/Twitter, the former talent called out the company and Triple H and spoke his heart out, stating that not getting mentioned at Wrestlepalooza hurt him a little.
The fact that me and my team didnâ€t make this package hurts us a little. We took Sportscenter to multiple Manias. We did Tuesday interviews from Smackdown for over 2 years. But at least anchors that donâ€t know anything about wrestling made it. Thank you TRIPS. LOL. To my 5 guys who rolled with me we know,” he wrote.

Coach was also not satisfied with Wrestlepalooza and called it a “glorified SmackDown.“
