The ESPN fantasy basketball experts got together for their first mock draft of the 2025-26 NBA season, using a 10-team head-to-head points format.

If you’re new to fantasy hoops and looking to try it out for the first time, here is a tutorial of all the basics. From there, it’s easy to grab a handful of people, set up a draft and have some fun! Before that, though, it’s always smart to spend a little time preparing with a mock draft of your own.

That said, this mock draft should help shine some light on what things will look like in most real fantasy drafts this season … at least in H2H points leagues.

Where did Victor Wembanyama and Cooper Flagg get picked? Did longtime fantasy stars like LeBron James, James Harden, Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant fall? And which players stood out as the top values in the middle and late rounds?

The participants of our 10-team H2H points mock, in order of draft position, were as follows: Alex Barutha, Eric Moody, Eric Karabell, Andre Snellings, Tom Carpenter, Ken Crites, Joe Kaiser, Jim McCormick, Steve Alexander and Kirien Sprecher.
