WWE authorities and Drew McIntyre had a tense verbal exchange after SmackDown suspension.
Last weekend, Cody Rhodes defeated Drew McIntyre at Saturday Night’s Main Event and retained the Undisputed WWE Championship. This week on Friday Night SmackDown, The American Nightmare stated that his feud with The Scottish Warrior is behind him, and out comes Aleister Black with Zelina to challenge the champion later that night.
On the main event of the November 7 SmackDown show, Cody and Aleister’s match was cut short after Drew suddenly appeared and Claymore Kicked the referee before proceeding to attack the Undisputed Champion. Due to the mess he created, Nick Aldis came out and stated that McIntyre was suspended.
Following the recent Friday Night SmackDown show, WWE posted an exclusive video of Drew McIntyre getting into a heated verbal battle against several officials, including Nick Aldis and Bobby Roode. The officials were instructing the superstar to leave, with both parties exchanging expletives. Eventually, the former World Champion walked out of the arena.

Wrestling Legend Says WWE Should Crown Drew McIntyre The Undisputed Championship
In a previous K100 episode, Konan advocated for Drew McIntyre to become the Undisputed Champion as he’s “all-around perfect.” The wrestling legend also criticized the Stamford-based promotion for the sword the former world champion previously held in 2022.
I agree they should put the title on Drew McIntyre,†Konnan said. “Enough already, as Disco [Inferno] would say. Already in shape, looks like a star. Thank God they got rid of that cheesy sword that you knew he would never use; and it was named after his mother, something like that. Come on, dude. He can talk. He works social media perfectly. Bro, heâ€s all around perfect. Give him the title, letâ€s see what happens.â€
It remains to be seen what is next for Drew McIntyre following his WWE suspension on Friday Night SmackDown.
