Darby Allin’s Ex-Wife And Former WWE Star Wants AEW Return

AEW return being eyed by former WWE star and Darby Allin’s ex-wife.

One of the stars who initially wrestled in AEW before joining WWE was Gigi Dolin, now going by Priscilla Kelly. Before joining the Stamford-based promotion in 2021, she was All Elite from 2019 to 2020. It was also during this time that Darby Allin joined the All Elite Wrestling, but both stars got married in 2018 before divorcing two years later.

Following Gigi’s WWE release earlier this year, she is now eyeing eventually get back to AEW, where Darby Allin is still wrestling. On the Instinct Culture Podcast with Denise Salcedo, Priscilla Kelly shared that her main goal at the moment is to have fun but eventually return to AEW. The former superstar noted that she felt she had left a lot of things on the table at the company before joining WWE.

I’ve told everybody like my main goal right now is just having fun. And that’s still my goal. I still want to have fun. But coming out of this year and going into 2026, I think, I don’t know. I think I’d really like to maybe go to AEW. I think there’s a lot of stuff that was left on the table.”

Priscilla Kelly and Darby Allin are currently engaged to other people. The former is with Zachary Wentz and got engaged in October 2023. The latter is also engaged to a high school friend whom he reconnected with years later.

Priscilla Kelly Hasn’t Been In Contact With Anybody in AEW, Including Darby Allin

In the same interview, the former WWE star revealed that she hasn’t contacted anybody in AEW about her plans, as she has been busy and has no plans to rush to return to television anyway after being in a “controlling” program for years.

Priscilla added that she wants to enjoy life for now, but long-term goals definitely involve her returning to a large wrestling promotion. Kelly added that in AEW, she would be able to express herself as they are more open to individuality.

I do think AEW is more of the type of place where you can express yourself a little bit, more individually over there. And like I say, pros and cons like that can be that can be a blessing or that can be someone’s downfall. And I think that’s I think it’s cool that over there, it just seems like you can you have a little bit more control on where that road can take you because they allow a little bit more individuality, I will say.”

It remains to be seen what the future holds for Priscilla Kelly in AEW.
