WWE legend CM Punk is stepping into the role of an actor again in a new film.
The movie Night Patrol had its world premiere at the Fantastic Fest on September 19, 2025. While it has not yet been released in the United States, fans are already getting hyped to see it once it releases on January 16 next year. Directed and written by Ryan Prows, the film follows fictional events in LA involving a cop, and it appears from the trailers that it will feature vampires in action.
In a recent clip intended to hype the upcoming US release, CM Punk could be seen taking on a vampire-inspired role. Given his improvisation skills in WWE and acting chops, this could be a fun character to play for him and an entertaining watch for viewers.

CM Punk Was Recently Called Out For A WWE Match
While The Second City Saint is venturing out to Hollywood again, another veteran seems keen to have a match with him.
Speaking in an interview with Oâ€Shea Jackson and TJ Jefferson on No-Contest Wrestling, AJ Styles talked about how similar he and Punk were in terms of wrestling styles. He said:
I would love to work Punk.â€
“I think itâ€d be great. Our styles are very much the same. Weâ€ve wrestled each other 20 years ago [in a singles match at the IWA Mid-South 8th Anniversary Show on October 23, 2004]. To throw it back, to be able to do it again, one-on-one match, I think itâ€d be a lot of fun. I donâ€t know if itâ€s going to happen because we donâ€t write the stuff. If itâ€s there, itâ€s there. If it isnâ€t, it isnâ€t. I could ride off into the sunset and be okay with it.â€
AJ Styles will be retiring next year, which would make such a match a must-watch for WWE fans before The Phenomenal One rides off into the sunset.
