CM Punk and Jey Uso Face off
Jey Uso kicked off this episode of Monday Night Raw, and as he came out to the ring, he said he had Roman Reigns and Jimmy Uso in his ear, but he now doesnâ€t care about them anymore, and his only goal is to become a two-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion. After that, Punk said, he and Jey are very good friends, but he will have to beat him to win the title.
Punk further said, he can go far, and can do anything to win the title, and asked the same question to Jey Uso, and asked how far can you go. Jey Uso replied and said that I will show you who the actual best in the world really is.
Penta vs Rusev
After Dominik Mysterio defeated Rusev and Penta, both Rusev and Penta faced each other in a number-one contenders match to determine the next challenger for Dominik Mysterioâ€s Intercontinental Championship. This match went on for 20+ minutes, and at the end of the match, Los Americanos attacked both Rusev and Penta, resulting in a disqualification. As a result of this match, later in the show, it was confirmed that Dominik Mysterio will defend his championship against both Rusev and Penta in a triple threat match at Saturday Night Main Event.
The Vision Backstage SegmentÂ
During a backstage segment, Bron Breakker again asked why he wasnâ€t in the Battle Royal last week. Paul Heyman replied and said that they don’t need to fight 20+ men for a title, and they will wait till Saturday Night Main Event, and they will see who wins the World Heavyweight Championship.
Nikki Bella vs Roxanne Perez
Nikki Bella returned last week to save Stephanie Vaquer from Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez, and on this weekâ€s Raw, she faced Roxanne Perez in a one-on-one match. This match went on 15+ minutes, and with the help of Raquel and Perez took advantage and delivered a Pop Rox to secure the victory via pinfall. After the match, both Perez and Raquel attacked Nikki, but Stephanie Vaquer came out and saved her.Â
Bron Breakker vs LA Knight
During their backstage segment, Paul Heyman said that Bron Breakker will face LA Knight in a one-on-one match. This match went on for 10+ minutes, and at the end of the match, LA Knight was about to deliver a Jump-Up Elbow, but Breakker countered the move and delivered a spear to secure the win via pinfall.
Sheamus vs JD McDonagh
After eliminating both Finn Balor and JD McDonagh from the Battle Royal, Sheamus faced JD McDonagh in a 20+ minutes one-on-one match, and at the end of the match, as Sheamus was about to jump from the top rope, Finn Balor attacked him, which allowed JD McDonagh to deliver a Spanish Fly, and with that, McDonagh secured the biggest singles victory of his career via pinfall.
Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss vs Bayley and Lyra Valkyria
It was already announced that the main event of the weekâ€s Monday Night Raw will be Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss defending their Womenâ€s Tag Team Championships against the team of Bayley and Lyra Valkyria. This match was one of the best matches of the entire night, which kept the crowd going back and forth. This match went on 15+ minutes, and at the end of the match, as Bayley was about to tap out, Valkyria saved her partner, and then, as Alexa Bliss delivered a Twisted Bliss.
After that, both Charlotte Flair and Alexa delivered a double natural selection to secure the win and retain the titles via pinfall. After the match, the Kabuki warriors came out and attacked everyone, putting everybody on notice that they are next in line for a shot at the Womenâ€s Tag Team Championships.
