CJ Perry and Miro—best known to WWE fans as Lana and Rusev—are officially back together, but that didnâ€t stop some drama from resurfacing during their joint appearance on the Identity Crisis podcast.
Perry didnâ€t hold back when she alleged that their real-life divorce was served with some brutal timing.
“He served divorce papers on my birthday, this is shoot. He literally [served papers on my birthday.]â€
Miro was quick to jump in and push back on that version of events, claiming his wife was exaggerating for dramatic effect.
“It was not on her birthday. Sheâ€s taking the CM Punk storyline… This is not true though!â€
The “CM Punk storyline†Miro referenced is a direct shot at the infamous moment when Punk was served his WWE termination papers on the day of his wedding to AJ Lee back in 2014. Despite the playful jabs, Miro made it clear that their split was no act.
The couple confirmed their separation back in 2024 after years of marriage. It wasnâ€t until exactly one year later that fans learned they were back together—having renewed their wedding vows and moved forward as a couple.
