Mishra’s last appearance in the IPL was in 2024 for the Lucknow Super Giants, where he played only one game in the whole season, taking one wicket for 20 runs.
Amit Mishra’s IPL journey spanned over 17 years, during which he set a unique record as the only bowler to claim three hat-tricks in the tournament’s history. The first of those came back in 2008, when he was turning out for Delhi Daredevils against Deccan Chargers. He took his second hat-trick playing for the Deccan Chargers against Kings XI Punjab in 2011. Mishra’s third and final hat-trick was in 2013, playing for the Sunrisers Hyderabad against Pune Warriors.
