Lionel Messi India Tour Delhi: Lionel Messi, arguably the greatest footballer of all time and one of the most influential sportspeople of all time, is set to visit India on an official tour in December 2025. Today, we will discuss the final city he will come to on this tour, that being the capital region of the country, Delhi.

As part of the “GOAT Tour of India 2025â€, Messi will visit four cities – Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, and Delhi. Today, we will discuss the date and location of the iconic playerâ€s first-ever official visit to the last city he will visit on this tour, that being.

Lionel Messi India Tour Delhi: All Details of the Tour

Unlike his visits to the other cities on this tour, Messiâ€s time in Delhi will focus on accomplishing multiple tasks. First, the GOAT will have a meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, followed by a fan event at the Arun Jaitley Stadium.

The Argentineâ€s high-level meeting with PM Modi will have a focus on the development of football in India, a country that has a massive fan following of the sport but does not have a global presence in it. The two will likely have discussions about how the sport can be developed in India and how youth development will play a role in it.

This ceremony will be followed by a fan-focused event at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, the premier cricketing stadium in Delhi, in the centre of the city. The event will see Lionel Messi appear in front of the fans and might even have a football showcase from the eight-time Ballon dâ€Or winner.

The event in Delhi, which will be Messiâ€s first appearance in the Indian capital, is expected to be attended by famous cricketers like Delhiâ€s very own Virat Kohli and Indiaâ€s Test captain Shubman Gill, both of whom have expressed their love for football in the past.

As previously mentioned, Delhi will be the last stop on Lionel Messi’s GOAT Tour to India in 2025. His visit to the capital will take place on December 15 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. While the meeting with PM Narendra Modi will happen in the morning, the fan event at the Arun Jaitley Stadium will start around 2:15 pm on a winter afternoon.

The prices for the event at the Arun Jaitley will be higher than those for the one at the Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata but lower than the event at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. The general entry passes will start at Rs. 5000 and go up to Rs. 6000.

The premium passes will start from Rs. 18000 and will go as high as Rs. 28000. And as for the VIP/GOAT passes, which will allow fans to have lounge access, get signed items, and participate in a meet and greet with Messi, with costs from Rs. 38000 to Rs. 55000.
