An AEW talent has revealed that they recently went under the knife.
Peter Avalon announced on Threads that he underwent meniscus and ACL surgery this past Tuesday. He also noted that he had rotator cuff surgery back in April.
“Rotator cuff surgery was April. Meniscus / ACL surgery was Tuesday,†he posted.
Avalon hasnâ€t wrestled since December 2024, when he lost to Bryn Thorne at PHW Partymania. He last competed for Ring of Honor in October 2024, teaming with Preston Vance in a losing effort against BEEF & JD Drake.
As for his last AEW in-ring appearance, it took place on Rampage in May 2024.
Peter Avalon has been with All Elite Wrestling since 2019. He gained recognition as part of The Wingmen alongside Cezar Bononi, JD Drake, and Ryan Nemeth from 2021 to 2023.
AEW star drops cryptic message amid injury absence
Jay White sent social media into a frenzy with his cryptic “Ready?†post last week, fueling speculation about a possible return to AEW programming.
The Switchblade has been absent from in-ring competition since the April 30 episode of Collision, where he picked up a win over Kevin Knight.
The last update on Whiteâ€s injury status came directly from Tony Khan in August — and it didnâ€t sound promising.
It remains unclear whether White was simply trolling fans with his cryptic message or if thereâ€s more to it than meets the eye.
