Darby Allin is opening a skatepark.
In a segment that aired on this week’s Collision, Darby Allin said that after climbing Mt. Everest, he was working on a new mission: building a skatepark in McDonough, Georgia, which has been his home since 2017.
At the end of the video, Allin instructed those that wish to donate could do so at this link. The fundraiser is also sponsored by The Skatepark Project, a charity founded by Tony Hawk.
According to the fundraiser’s website, this project was approved back in February by Henry County leaders that approved a plan to build three skateparks, including Allin’s. It will be located at Heritage Park and will repurpose a 37,500 sq. ft. former covered arena.
Allin returned to AEW television at the end of All In, helping Hangman Adam Page defeat Jon Moxley to win the AEW World title. In the weeks since, Allin has been looking to face the man who put him out of action in a singles match. Following his team’s win at Forbidden Door, Allin issued the challenge but was denied by Wheeler Yuta, who spoke on behalf of Moxley.
