NORTH ATTLEBORO, MA. –Pace University Volleyball freshman Kadence Ackmann has been named the Northeast 10 (NE10) Conference Rookie of the Week, announced on Monday afternoon. The outside hitter continued her outstanding debut season with another strong all-around performance, powering the Setters in back-to-back contests.
Ackmann totaled 24 kills, 18 digs, two blocks, one service ace, and 26 total points across a pair of matches this past week, averaging 3.42 kills and 2.57 digs per set. She led the Blue and Gold in both kills and total points while showcasing her versatility in key moments.
The McKinney, TX. native was exceptional in Pace’s four-set victory over Assumption, recording 15 kills and 10 digs on an efficient .324 hitting percentage. Earlier in the week at West Chester University (PA.), she added nine kills, eight digs, and two blocks, continuing to make her mark as one of the NE10’s most impactful newcomers.
Ackmann has now recorded seven double-doubles this season and continues to be a driving force for the Setters’ late-season push.
Ackmann and the Setters return home this Saturday for Senior Day and the regular season finale, hosting American International College inside the Goldstein Fitness Center at 1:00 p.m.
