Mark Briscoe had a big reason to skip AEW Dynamite this week—and he shared it from the comfort of his own backyard.

In a pre-taped segment aired during Wednesday’s Dynamite, cameras caught up with Briscoe at his family’s farm. The 40-year-old star proudly revealed he had missed the show to be home for the birth of his new baby boy, Mack.

“The reason I ain’t there is ’cause we just welcomed a new Briscoe into the world. Meet baby Mack, y’all,” he said as he held his newborn in front of the camera.

After soaking in some family time, Briscoe quickly shifted gears and addressed business inside the ring—specifically calling out Kyle Fletcher and issuing a direct challenge for the TNT Championship. He made it clear he’s ready for a fight and wants that title shot when AEW hits Philly.

“Kyle Fletcher, you been doing your thing… but I want my shot. Let’s do it—TNT Title—Philadelphia. You ready, Protostar?”

AEW will be holding events at the iconic 2300 Arena in Philadelphia through Thursday, September 11, making it the perfect setting for Briscoe’s challenge to be answered.

Ringside News sends congratulations to Mark Briscoe and his wife on the birth of their son. As for that TNT Title match—AEW fans may want to keep their eyes on upcoming cards for confirmation.

Should Kyle Fletcher accept the challenge and put the TNT Title on the line against Mark Briscoe in Philly? Let us know your take in the comments below.
