Darby Allin is officially out of AEWâ€s Continental Classic Tournament, with a replacement being named tonight.
During tonightâ€s AEW Collision, a video featuring Allin was shown. Allin explained that he would be forced to miss the rest of the tournament. He explained how his recent hospitalization was the reason why, noting that AEW doctors have removed him from the tournament.
As a result, Allin revealed that Jack Perry would be taking his spot in the Continental Classic. As for whatâ€s next from Darby, Allin had no answers and was clearly frustrated at the turn of events.
During a match against Kevin Knight in the Continental Classic Gold League two weeks ago, Allin suffered a head injury. The injury required a legitimate hospitalization on Allinâ€s behalf, and likely came from a blow to the head he received at some point. While itâ€s unclear what the extent of Allinâ€s injury is, heâ€ll be out of action for the foreseeable future.
