Bray Wyatt was an American professional wrestler. He was born in Brooksville, Florida, United States, on 24 August 2023. He started his professional wrestling career in 2009, when he joined WWE’s developmental system. He made his official main roster debut with the Nexus; at that time, his ring name was Husky Harris.
In 2012, he abandoned the Husky Harris character and introduced a whole new character to the WWE universe. This character was called Bray Wyatt. He started a new faction named the Wyatt Family, which included other WWE superstars like Luke Harper, Braun Strowman, and Erick Rowan. Wyatt quickly became one of the most well-known characters in the WWE. One of the most memorable feuds in the WWE during the 2012 era was the Shield vs the Wyatt Family, where both of these top WWE factions wrestled many great matches.
After the Wyatt family ended, Bray Wyatt introduced a new character, and that was a demonic persona known as the Fiend. The Fiend was Wyatt’s alter ego, and this character was widely famous amongst the WWE universe. However, in 2021, due to some budget cuts, WWE released him. After Vince McMahon retired, Triple H took charge, and the first major superstar he signed back to WWE was Wyatt. His return at Extreme Rules 2022 is widely regarded as one of the best returns in the history of professional wrestling.
Wyatt wrestled his last match in January 2023 at the Royal Rumble Premium Live Event against LA Knight. After his match against Knight, Wyatt took some time off from the WWE to focus on his health. It was reported that he, after getting COVID-19, had developed some sort of heart issues. While recovering from these health issues, Wyatt tragically died after suffering a heart attack at the age of 36 on August 24, 2023.
