Roman Reigns is an American professional wrestler and actor. He was born in Pensacola, Florida, United States, on May 25, 1985. He made his professional wrestling debut in 2010 in the Florida Championship Wrestling, which is now known as NXT. After spending a short amount of time in FCW, Reigns made his main roster debut on November 18, 2012, at the Survivor Series Premium Live Event. He made his debut alongside Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins in a faction known as The Shield.
After ruling the entire WWE for more than 2 years, The Shield broke up in 2014, and Roman Reigns started his singles career. His initial days as a single competitor received too much backlash from the fans, and despite being a face in multiple storylines, Reigns used to get booed.
However, during the Pandemic era, Roman Reigns took a short break to focus on his health and returned at SummerSlam 2020 with a new heel character. He aligned himself with Paul Heyman and formed a faction known as The Bloodline with his cousins, the Usos, and Solo Sikoa. This character change made Roman one of the biggest stars in the history of professional wrestling.
