The Vision’s newest member broke the silence following the recent episode of WWE RAW.
On the November 3 episode of Monday Night RAW, CM Punk entered the arena as the WWE World Heavyweight Champion after almost 13 years. He beat Jey Uso and LA Knight to become the number one contender for the title, but due to the shoulder injury sustained by Seth Rollins at Crown Jewel forced to relinquish the title, sending him off WWE TV.
To determine Punk’s opponent for the vacant championship match, a 20-man Battle Royal was held on RAW, which was ultimately controversially won by Jey Uso. Both wrestlers delivered heavy moves on each other, leaving no gap in their title pursuit. Finally, after delivering two GTS moves on Uso, Punk was able to put him down for a three-count, winning the match and getting a proper championship reign.
However, the celebrations on this Monday were cut short due to the interruption of Logan Paul.
Logan Paul Creates Chaos on WWE RAW
Punk named multiple legends and rising stars who could face him for the title, including AJ Styles, Sheamus, and even John Cena. However, Logan Paul came out as the challenger. The entire arena started booing, and Punk was visibly reluctant, trying to avoid Paul. Soon, Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, and Paul Heyman entered the arena. They ordered Punk and Paul to vacate the ring, which Paul did, but came back to rescue Punk. However, the Vision dominated both stars.
Later during the night, when Punk, Uso, Breakker, and Reed were inside the ring, Logan Paul appeared with brass knuckles. He stood beside Punk, continuing his support from earlier in the show, but as soon as Punk took his eyes off Paul and focused on the bigger problem, Paul backstabbed him, knocking him down with the brass knuckles.
Paul then surrendered to Heyman, potentially signalling that he is the newest member of the Vision faction. Since these shocking events, there has been no update from any of the members about the faction and Paul’s membership. However, the YouTube sensation recently addressed his move on social media.
In one of his weekly vlog videos, Paul shared a clip right after RAW went off air from backstage. Looking at the camera with chilling expressions, Paul said:
There’s a lot of people in this business. Look around, see these people right here, you got people over there. All these people, but few of them are intelligent. I’d actually say little to none. See, I found that in this game, you got to move smart. If you want to make it to the top, you got to move smart. And that’s what that was, that was a chess move. That was a four-dimensional chess move. I’m f*****g Magnus Carlsen out here. Watch what happens next.” (17:00 – 17:25)
The latest episode of WWE RAW featured a lot of story development in terms of the upcoming premium live events and championship reigns. It would be interesting to see who challenges Punk and whether Paul, as the newest member of the Vision, creates chaos on Monday Nights.
