An update on Steve Maclinâ€s contract status.
Fightful Select reported on Monday that Maclinâ€s contract is set to expire at the end of 2025. He re-signed with the company on a one-year deal when his contract came up last year.
Maclin has spent the last few months in the International title scene, a new championship established earlier this year when he defeated Eric Young and AJ Francis in a tournament final to become the first-ever champion. At Victory Road, Frankie Kazarian defeated Maclin to win the title. However, Kazarianâ€s run was short-lived as Maclin regained the title at Bound for Glory earlier this month.
Previously known as Steve Cutler, Maclin wrestled in NXT and WWE for years, teaming with Wesley Blake for most of his run. They briefly formed a stable with Baron Corbin on the main roster before being released in early 2021. Maclin joined TNA later that year as a singles wrestler, winning their World Championship in 2023. He would hold it for 54 days before losing to Alex Shelley.
