WWE Superstar Chelsea Green got a rather disturbing surprise recently, although it proved to be an entertaining affair for fans. Green herself was quite happy about the surprise, despite her initial reaction.
The legend who was the mastermind behind the moment was none other than The Boogeyman, Martin Wright. The 61-year-old veteran is still signed to WWE under a Legends contract. Despite his age, he occasionally performs for other promotions while maintaining his impressive physique.
The Boogeyman last performed at DREAMWAVE Trick Or Treat 2025, which was held in Peru, Illinois. He went up against Kody Lane and Santana Jackson, with Kody emerging as the winner.
The WWE Legend recently scared Chelsea Green
The Boogeyman was known for his scary gimmick, which he took full advantage of to scare Chelsea Green.
Chelsea appeared to be unaware of the prank, as she sat in front of a camera backstage. Boogeyman appeared behind her in his full makeup and costume, taking her by surprise. As expected, Chelsea instinctively screamed out her lungs before realizing it was a prank.

Chelsea was also very happy to meet the Boogeyman unexpectedly. The latter also complimented her, saying she was the absolute best. Chelsea took her leave quickly, stating that she had p**d her pants.
Under the Instagram post, the WWE Superstar talked about how scared she was by the prank. She stated:
That was the day my hair turned grey and I aged 15 years”
Chelsea is currently signed to the SmackDown roster, and she is the leader of The Green Regime. It remains to be seen what is next for her down the line in WWE.
