AEW WrestleDream 2025 went down at the Chaifetz Arena in St. Louis, but not everyone who paid for the show got to enjoy it. Amazon Prime users were furious when their feed cut off early, missing the final stretch of the pay-per-view. Unfortunately, they werenâ€t alone in dealing with technical nightmares.
Xfinity customers had it even worse. Many people werenâ€t able to order the event at all, reporting that the system blocked them from purchasing WrestleDream. The complaints poured in throughout the night, with fans saying they tried multiple times but couldnâ€t get access. On top of that, the frustration was compounded by Xfinityâ€s notoriously poor customer service, which left viewers with no quick solution while the show was live.
The Prime issue was a mistake on Amazonâ€s end, with the stream cutting off at the top of the hour even though WrestleDream was scheduled to continue. For Xfinity, it wasnâ€t about a cutoff — it was about people being shut out before the event even started, with no way to watch.
This combination of problems has raised major questions about whether AEW can rely on these distributors to deliver pay-per-view broadcasts without disaster.
