The inaugural DP World India Championship concludes Sunday at the Delhi Golf Club in India, and while the $680k first-place check and $4 million total purse are modest by modern standards, it will still be the richest prize for a golf tournament in India’s history.
The final round will offer plenty of intrigue, as 25-year-old Keita Nakajima holds a two-shot lead over Tommy Fleetwood at a unique Delhi Golf Club layout that has nearly half the field, including Rory McIlroy, without a driver this week.

McIlroy finds himself well behind the lead at 10 under, seven back of Nakajima, and there’s a host of other stars between him and the lead.
In addition to Fleetwood, McIlroy’s other European Ryder Cup teammates, Shane Lowry and Viktor Hovland, find themselves in contention with Lowry in solo third at 14 under and Hovland in a tie for eighth at 12 under.
Americans Brian Harman and Michael Kim are also in the hunt at 13 and 11 under, respectively.
