    Another WWE star injured?

Injuries have always been a part of sports and pro-wrestling. Often, WWE stars and pro-wrestlers across other promotions suffer serious injuries while wrestling or training. Recently, Kota Ibushi of AEW fell victim to a serious injury, and now, Jacy Jayne of NXT might be next on the list.

Recently, while performing at a live house show on October 9th, Jayne apparently suffered a leg injury, which required the referee to stop the match. The NXT Women’s Champion was soon helped to the back by medical personnel.

The incident took place during a tag team match between Jayneâ€s Fatal Influence and Zaruca (Sol Ruca and Zaria). Soon, videos on X(Twitter) emerged showing Jayne limping on her way to the back and displaying possible signs of a serious injury. Also, another Reddit user noted that,

Towards the end of the match Jacy grabbed at her quad and tagged out of the match quickly after. Ref threw the x up after the match and when she tried to walk back under her own power had to be assisted by WWE medical to the backâ€.

BREAKING: Jacy Jayne limping backstage after that brutal match! The X was called immediately. Prayers up ðŸ #WWENXT#NoMercypic.twitter.com/8VkbC4bHy1

Soon enough after the moment became a talking point, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful shared an update on social media and noted,

Referees came out and held up the “X” for Jacy Jayne at an NXT live event, indicating an injury. Hopefully all is well.”

Multiple fans on social media also noted that the ‘X’ sign was also used for Fallon Henley after she took a rough facial bump on an assisted Sol Snatcher.

The infamous ‘X’ sign is a dreaded referee signal and is only used by the match official during a serious injury.

WWE Jacy Jayne Was Enjoying The Run Of Her Career

Earlier this year, Jayne defeated Stephanie Vaquer to win the NXT Women’s Championship, and later also won the TNA Knockouts Title. Although she later lost it to Masha Slamovich.

One of the leading women’s figures in NXT, the potential injury could ruin the sensational momentum she has been carrying now. An important figure in the brand right now, Jayne recently led Team NXT during their battle against Team TNA on Showdown.

While nothing official has been shared on the incident yet, we at ITR Wrestling wish Jacy Jayne a safe recovery.

In other news: A promising WWE star recently announced her departure.
