A former WWE star is in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in a hospital, fighting for his life.

Bobby Horne is best known for his time in World Wrestling Entertainment under the ring name “Mo,” and later “Sir Mo.” He was signed to World Wrestling Entertainment between 1993 and 1996, where he held the WWF World Tag Team Championship with tag team partner Mabel (aka Viscera, Big Daddy V). They were together dubbed “Men on a Mission.”

Horne continued to wrestle in the independent circuit after his stint in WWE (WWF), working for USWA, its successor, Memphis Pro Wrestling, and Randy Hales†Power Pro Wrestling. He later started his own promotion called Southern Extreme Wrestling. As the years passed by, his performances became sporadic. Bobby retired in 2007 and began driving trucks. However, he came out of retirement in 2014.

Since 2016, Bobby Horne has run SOAR Championship Wrestling with his wife, Denise Jones, in Dallas, Texas.

Leilani Kai Gives Former WWE Star Bobby “Mo” Horne’s Health Update

On Facebook, former WWE (WWF) Women’s Champion Leilani Kai penned a heartbreaking note about “Sir Mo” Bobby Horne, revealing that Horne was battling blood infection and pneumonia, and fighting for his life in the ICU at the time of this writing.

Thinking of my friend, ‘Sir Mo’ Bobby Horne. Iâ€ve known Bobby for many years — all the way back to our WWF days in the mid-â€90s. Weâ€ve worked a lot of shows together since then, and heâ€s always been the same kind-hearted, funny, and dependable person wherever we were — locker rooms, conventions, or long drives on the road.

Heâ€s going through a really tough time right now, battling a blood infection and pneumonia, and remains in the ICU. His wife Denise has been by his side every step of the way and has been sharing updates as he continues to fight and show small signs of improvement.

Please keep Bobby and Denise in your prayers tonight. Heâ€s a good man and a true friend to so many of us in wrestling,” Leilani Kai wrote on Facebook.

Sadly, this is not the former WWE star’s first time dealing with severe health issues. In 2018, he underwent a kidney transplant and has needed lifelong anti-rejection medication ever since. In 2022, he underwent a liver transplant and endured COVID-19, which also put him in the ICU.

Our prayers are with Bobby “Mo” Horne and his family. We at ITR Wrestling wish the legend a speedy recovery.
