    Pakistan vs Oman Highlights: Team Pakistan started their 2025 Asia Cup tournament on 12 September, with a massive 93-run victory over Oman. Pakistan won the toss, and the new captain, Salman Ali Agha, selected to bat first. The Pakistani team struggled in the early overs as their new opening pair was broken by Oman in the very first over of the match. Shah Faisal took Pakistan’s first wicket at 4 runs. With the help of an 85-run partnership between Mohammad Haris and Sahibzada Farhan, Team Pakistan was able to reach the score of 160 in 20 overs.

    On the other hand, while Team Pakistan’s batting line-up may not be in that great form, their bowling line-up completely destroyed Team Oman’s batting line-up. Saim Ayub, Faheem Ashraf, and Sufiyan Muqeem each took 2 wickets in the match. The Pakistani bowlers bowled out the entire team of Oman at 67 runs, securing a huge 93-run victory.

    After winning their first match in the 2025 Asia Cup tournament, the much awaited India vs Pakistan match will happen on Sunday, 14 September 2025. Team India won their first match in a dominating manner by defeating the UAE by 9 wickets. In that match, Team India’s bowling attack bowled out the entire UAE Team at 57 runs. Not only that, Team India’s opening pair also looked in great form. While talking about Team Pakistan’s batting lineup, they struggled in the initial overs against Oman. However, just like India, Pakistan’s bowling line-up is also in great form. Now, India and Pakistan, with one win each in the tournament, will face each other on 14 September to qualify for the Super Four.

    Oman will face the UAE in their next match of the 2025 Asia Cup tournament. Both teams started their tournament with a huge loss. Team Oman lost their first match of the 2025 Asia Cup against Pakistan by 93 runs. The following lost cost Oman a negative net run rate of -4.650. The UAE also lost their first match against India by 9 wickets, costing them a net run rate of -10.483. Now, both teams will be looking to secure their first win of the tournament when they face each other on 15 September 2025.
