Simon Fraser (4-0) remained unbeaten and improved to 3-0 against California Collegiate Athletic Association teams following earlier wins over San Francisco State and Cal Poly Pomona.

The Red Leafs opened up a 21-9 lead before the Golden Eagles made a late push, pulling to within 23-18 after back-to-back kills from Cetin.
