Bryson DeChambeau has not played professional golf since LIV ended its season at the team championship last month, although, if you happen to follow the two-time major champ on his social channels, you still know what he’s been up to.
DeChambeau is a couple of weeks into a challenge he’s been recording and promoting on his social feeds, and this one involves wedging a ping-pong ball up and onto a catwalk and having it land, bounce or eventually settle into a shot-sized cup. (A previous one involved making a hole in one over his house.)
This one looks… not easy. But DeChambeau has recorded his progress throughout the challenge, and on Friday he released the latest installment with the caption: “I’m going home now – Day 12.”
DeChambeau allotted himself 120 shots on Day 12, although he only needed 15. Check out the video below.
What happens now? Well, you can win a car. DeChambeau has been conducting this challenge with a $325,000 Bentley in the background — with a prominent “Underdog” logo on the door, a sponsorship by Underdog Sports — and will now give away the car on his Instagram Live at 12 p.m. CT on Saturday. So… where will you be at noon Central on Saturday?
As for DeChambeau, next up on his calendar is the Ryder Cup, where he’ll be a member of the U.S. squad that takes on Europe at Bethpage Black on Long Island later this month.
