ENG vs SA 2nd ODI Prediction:In front of his home crowd at Headingley, Harry Brook suffered a chastising day in the first ODI against South Africa.

Brook first got run out for 12 runs and then saw his dismissal triggering a staggering English collapse as the hosts folded for only 131 runs, managing to survive for not even 25 overs. The fact that this series began only two days after the conclusion of The Hundred was not lost on anyone.

Keshav Maharaj and Wiaan Mulder shared seven wickets between them before Aiden Markram hammered 86 runs off 55 balls as the Proteas coasted to the target in only 20.5 overs, handing England one of their worst defeats in recent memory across formats.

The players will now travel to London for the 2nd ODI at Lord’s on Thursday.

Matthew Breetzke and Lhuan-dre Pretorius are in contention to replace Zorzi. If Kagiso Rabada is fit from his niggle, then he will walk into the side at Lord’s.
