Kevin Nash reacts to Becky Lynch’s recent promo about Ozzy Osbourne, saying her WWE run is over.
Last week on WWE RAW in Birmingham, England, Becky mocked Ozzy Osbourne’s hometown just a month after his passing. Her comments sparked backlash, and Ozzy’s daughter Kelly Osbourne blasted Lynch on Instagram for showing “disrespect.”
Reports revealed that, following the controversial promo, WWE even considered issuing a public apology. WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash has now criticized Lynch’s remarks in Birmingham, calling her promo “grasping at desperation.”
On his Kliq This podcast, Kevin Nash said, “I think her run’s over. I think she’s grasping at desperation. I think the business has passed her by. I don’t think that she said anything that was derogatory to Ozzy.”
Kevin Nash addressed Ozzy’s daughter, Kelly Osbourne, who blasted Becky Lynch and criticized WWE for allowing the comments. Nash reacted saying, “I don’t see how they always say, ‘Oh, any kind of publicity is good publicity.’ I don’t know, man. I mean, when somebody passes and you f*ck with the family.”
“And the daughter is the one that makes the comment, I don’t think that’s exactly the look that the WWE or its shareholders, which I’m one of. I’m a TKO shareholder. I don’t particularly want that coming out of somebody’s mouth as a shareholder.” [H/T: wrestlingnews.co]
