Grade: B
This was a star-making performance for Reed. Reigns went way out of his way to make Reed appear to be the biggest monster in WWE. Reed countered Reigns at every turn and somehow managed to make Reigns look small. Reed was never going to win this match, but there were points during that match that made the crowd and this writer believe it could actually happen. Despite looking great during the match, Reed and Breakker look even better after the utter destruction of Reigns after the match. This writer didn’t think Reed would be able to top his obliteration of Seth Rollins a few months back… This beating got uncomfortable. Amazing stuff.

Grade: C+
This was a fun match, but it didn’t feel like as big a deal as a title match should. This felt like a SmackDown main event, which isn’t a bad thing, but in a PLE setting, we need a bit more. The tension tease between Ford and Dawkins was a choice, especially since it didn’t lead to anything of note during the match. Let’s see what’s next for the Street Profits; hopefully, it’s more than just a tired tag team split that leads to a feud.

This match was… fine. If the tag title match felt like a SmackDown main event, this one was more like the SmackDown match before the main event. This wasn’t terrible, but it wasn’t good either. Nikki looked rough to start, but got it together by the end of the match.

This match was phenomenal! Rusev and Sheamus, once again, attempted to murder each other for our enjoyment. This was the equivalent of two gladiators fighting to the death in the colosseum. This is how you pay off a blood feud. No gummy bears or silliness required.

Grade: B+
Cena spent the first ten minutes of this match throwing lariats as if WWE were the Tokyo Dome. Both Cena and Paul pulled out moves we haven’t seen them do before. Cena did his best Kojima impression, while Paul paraded around the ring like Hangman Page, and Claudio Castagnoli did the fusion dance. Pale imitations aside, this was an amazing contest. Cena and Paul both went deep into their bags tonight and gave us the definition of a back-and-forth contest, with each competitor seemingly hitting their finishes 5873 times. The multiple finisher kick outs were a bit much, but considering how fun this was, this writer will allow it… this time. At this point, we all have to admit Paul is good at this.

Multi-person matches are hit or miss. This was a hit. Yes, there were periods where the other competitors just disappeared for no real reason, but they were brief. After a slow start, this one started humming with so many big moves and nearfalls. The finish, coming with Punk getting screwed by Becky Lynch, is interesting to say the least. Punk’s wife may have something to say about Lynch costing her husband the championship. Let the SPECULATION BEGIN!
WWE Clash at Paris Review:
Tonight’s show featured solid in-ring action, but pacing issues (the first match seemed to take up the first 45 minutes of the show- they need to get to the point quicker) and some sloppiness (slowly turns and looks at Becky Lynch and Nikki Bella) took some of the steam off an otherwise ok PLE. The middle section of the show just felt like an episode of SmackDown. A good episode of SmackDown, but still, an episode of SmackDown.

The TV write-off of Reigns was coming, as rumor has it, he will be filming a move soon. It just took too long getting there. Rusev and Sheamus tried to kill each other, and we were all entertained. The match of the night was John Cena battling Logan Paul. With everything that happened tonight, all of the focus and speculation is going to be on whether Lynch teaming with Rollins will lead to the return of the incomparable AJ Lee. What do you all think?
